Our goal is to provide the most underprivileged children and their families with healthy meals and an education that includes applicable skills for them to find employment in their nearby communities.

Our Story
Sponsor for success was born during the global pandemic when so many of us wanted to help those most in need but were unable to travel to our charities for in person service. That is when we reached out and asked what can we do from home to help.

"Contando con un Amigo", a small non profit school in Mexico was where we decided to start... there were so many needs.…food, water, classrooms with shelter from storms, solar for power, teachers and skill workshops for the students' parents to find employment.
​
What started with 2 friends from rival schools has now grown into a network of over 50 students representing over 10 different schools and growing every day. Through fundraising and hard work we have been able to build a classroom, sponsor fresh food including fruits and vegetables to be delivered weekly for its students and their families for the entire year.

We have sponsored 2 full time teachers to teach English. In addition we are scheduled to build a computer lab with solar panels starting in January 2022. Our donors are people who believe in our mission... "Teach applicable skills needed to help them find employment in their own communities for the ultimate goal of working their way out of poverty."

In addition, to our focus on English and computer skills we have connected to the Small Hotel and Business Associations in the area and we are starting an internship program for both the older students and their parents. They say..." we can't change the whole world" …but we can change someone's world!"
